Terms and Conditions
Securing Appointment Date
Your appointment date and service(s) will be secured when the signed contract is received. All bookings for weddings are made on a “first-come-first-served” basis. No dates will be guaranteed without a signed contract.
Deposit
A $75 non refundable deposit is due at the time of your successful run-through appointment. This will be applied to day of wedding services.
Payment
The balance of all services are due day of wedding in form of cash payment. We require this as all stylists are individual business owners. Please pay directly to the stylist who is assigned to your services.
Travel
I travel to perform services on-site the day of the wedding. For any on-site within a 50 mile radius or one hour of the salon address, a $75 fee will be charged to cover travel expense, time, etc. Generally that is $25 per hour, to and from destination. You are more than welcome to come to the salon to avoid travel fee. If I need to contract out another stylist, an additional charge will be required to compensate for additional expenses that may occur. This will be decided and discussed among bride and myself. Due to most wedding services starting earlier in the morning, if the wedding is more than two hours away, a hotel room is requested, or a $100 credit to help cover the cost of a hotel room.
The wedding party coordinator and myself will determine the final decision for the travel fee for any parties further than 50 miles from the salon or a travel time of longer than an hour (standard government mileage rate X total mileage above 50 mi. in addition to $75 charge). If additional stylists are required for your party, I charge $25 per stylist. This will all be discussed as every wedding I customize timelines etc. to fit individual needs. All travel fees will be collected from bride and paid to Krysta.
Contract/Appointment Changes
All agreements will be made in writing. Wedding date and time, service date, time of arrival, estimated time of completion, name of guest to be styled and service descriptions will be confirmed with bride or someone else designated by her. Any changes/additions to guests or wedding party members requesting additional services after the contract must be changed no later than 30 days prior to the wedding date. These changes are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. Charges for guest requiring additional services must be paid in full on the day of service. Changes will be accepted up to 30 days prior to service date. The entire cost of the cancelled service(s) will be charged to the bride on the day of. The bride/individual signing this contract may permit only one other person to authorize/ submit and change any arrangements for the wedding party. The wedding party coordinator and myself are the only ones to accept and make request changes.
*Cancellations due to emergencies are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Day of Wedding Expectations/Prep
Prep for Hair: Bride and bridesmaid must have clean, DRY, ready to style hair.
If hair is not dry you are subject to a $25 upcharge on top of your service charge. Following this rule of dry hair is so important as the timeline for wedding parties do not allow for this additional service and can result in your party not being done on time. I want this to be as smooth running and enjoyable for everyone.
Prep for Hair: Mothers/Grandmothers etc. The only exception to the dry hair rule is if you’re receiving a blow out style. In this case, damp, ready to style hair is perfect.
Prep for Makeup: Everyone getting makeup services must have clean (all mascara removed, no day before left overs) faces. Normal moisturizing routine is allowed and suggested. Contacts must be in if you’re planning on wearing them.
Additional circumstantial charges
Holiday fee: $100
Starting wedding day prep before 8 am: $100
